Musefest 2009 Policies

Pet Policy:

No pets allowed. No Exceptions. Leave your pets at home with a sitter. A responsible pet owner would not leave a pet in a locked car. We will report violations of this policy to the SPCA and the local sheriffs department. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience. There are a number of kennels in the Ithaca area, please utilize them or make arrangements in advance. The nearest kennel is less than a five minute drive from the festival site. Check them out here: Bed and Biscuit.

Service animals are permitted only with proper paperwork, a signed liability waiver and a copy of a drivers license or state issued identification of the service animals companion.

More information about service animal laws can be found here: www.usdoj.gov/crt/ada/animal.htm

Festival Hours:

Music begins in the early afternoon and continues throughout the evening. All attendees and their camps must evacuate the premises on Sunday by 11:59pm. If you stay until Monday, consider yourself volunteering for clean up and break down. We appreciate your help.

Volunteering/Work Exchange:

By offering at least 8 hours of your weekend to help the festival run smoothly and successfully, your ticket price will be reimbursed and you will earn admittance to the event. We also have some volunteer positions available before and after Musefest, please specify this if that is your preference. We will be taking volunteer applications first come first serve while need exists. Email us with what you can offer, check out the volunteer information also available on this site. Please apply early, as scheduling work shifts need to occur early. Walk up volunteers MUST arrive with cash for a ticket, and there is NO guarantee that volunteer space is available at the gate.
