The 10th Annual Musefest will be held August 28-30th 2009, at Newharts Lodge in Enfield, NY. For ten years, Musefest has strived to build a community based on love, mutual respect and freedom, as well as displaying the best regional acts in the area, as well as great National Acts, highlighting and promoting the very
best music, regardless of genre. This years line up is one of the most exciting the festival has ever put together.
From the Jam infused rockin' sets of Ayurveda , the energetic dub of Jsan & the Analogue Sons, to the Psychedelic electro-rock of Jimkata , the funk fueled sounds of local favorites, Revision, and the unique, "soulgrass" groove of Blue Sky Mission Club, this years festival promises to be one of the best marquee music events in the Northeast US this year.
In addition to great music, Musefest is happy to continue with its annual Musefest drum circle hosted by One Heart Community Drum, as well as the tradition of the Musefest Family parade, leading from the Kiddie Village/Family Camping area throughout the festival grounds on Sunday morning. The Family Camping area is a quiet, safe space for our festival attendees with children to camp and still enjoy the festival while having activities for the children. Activities have included face painting, a kids stage, sing alongs, jugglers, dancers, clowns, to name a short few.
Again this year, Musefest has selected performers from Sonicbids (sonicbids.com), and will be hosting these 'emerging artists' on stage throughout the weekend.
